SMARTRAC Technology Group has been developing a temperature tracking solution for the cold chain industry – using RFID technology on item, case, and pallet levels to track items from the source to the customer. Additionally, sensor and blockchain technology are used to track the condition of goods that need a controlled environment and site any changes or quality issues. This session will focus on how GS1 Standards such as the GTIN and Application Identifiers (AIs) are key to efficiently using the tracking solution.
